Registration

You can register by clicking on the “Register” link at the top right corner of the homepage.Please provide the information in the form that appears. You can review the terms and conditions, provide your payment mode details and submit the registration information.

No. Registration on city markets.co.in is absolutely free.

You can surf and add products to the cart without registration but only registered shoppers will be able to checkout and place orders. Registered members have to be logged in at the time of checking out the cart,they will be prompted to do so if they are not logged in.

Each email address and contact phone number can only be associated with one city market account.

Yes, you can add multiple delivery addresses in your city market account. However, remember that all items placed in a single order can only be delivered to one address. If you want different products delivered to different address you need to place them as separate orders.

Yes, we do understand the importance of time and the toil involved in shopping groceries. Up to three members in a family can have the same address provided the email address and phone number associated with the accounts are unique.

Account Related

My Account is the section you reach after you log in at citymarkets.co.in. My Account allows you to track your active orders, credit note details as well as see your order history and update your contact details.

You need to enter your email address on the Login page and click on forgot password. An email with a reset password will be sent to your email address. With this, you can change your password. In case of any further issues please contact our customer support team.

Wallet reflect the amount of money which you have pending in your city market account to use against future purchases. This is calculated by deducting your total order value minus undelivered value. You can see this in “My Account” under credit note details.

My Shopping List is a comprehensive list of all the items previously ordered by you on citymarkets.co.in. This enables you to shop quickly and easily in future.

Payment & Wallet

You can pay for your order on citymarkets.co.in using the following modes of payment:
a. Cash on delivery (COD)
b. Credit and debit cards (VISA / Mastercard / Rupay)
c. Wallet

If the order has to be left at the security gate, please continue to pay online via wallets, UPI, net banking, or cards as you are doing now.

If you choose COD as the payment method, you will need to pay our delivery executive in cash at the time of delivery.

To minimize contact, please give the executive the exact amount or the order total rounded up to the nearest hundred.

There is no VAT. However, GST will be applicable as per Government Regulizations.

Yes it is absolutely safe to use your card on citymarkets.co.in. A recent directive from RBI makes it mandatory to have an additional authentication pass code verified by VISA (VBV) or MSC (Master Secure Code) which has to be entered by online shoppers while paying online using visa or master credit card. It means extra security for customers, thus making online shopping safer

Cash on delivery means that you can pay for your order at the time of order delivery at your doorstep.

If we are not able to delivery all the products in your order and you have already paid for them online, the balance amount will be refunded to your city market account as store credit and you can use it at any time against your future orders. Should you want it to be credited to your bank account please contact our customer support team and we will refund it back on to your card.

Once you are done selecting your products and click on checkout you will be prompted to select delivery slot and payment method. On the payment method page there is a box where you can enter any evoucher/ coupon code that you have. The amount will automatically be deducted from your invoice value.

The city market Wallet is a pre-paid credit account that is associated with your city market account. This prepaid account allows you to pay a lump sum amount once to city market and then shop multiple times without having to pay each time.

Delivery Related

Once you are done selecting your products and click on checkout you will be prompted to select delivery slot. Your order will be delivered to you on the day and slot selected by you. If we are unable to deliver the order during the specified time duration (this sometimes happens due to unforeseen situations).

Fresh fruits and vegetables are hand picked, hand cleaned and hand packed in reusable plastic trays covered with cling. We ensure hygienic and careful handling of all our products.

Every fruit and vegetable varies a little in size and weight. While you shop we show an estimated weight and price for everything priced by kilogram. At the time of delivery we weigh each item to determine final price. This could vary by a maximum of one unit weight depending on the article. In case the weight of the product is lesser than what you ordered, you will pay correspondingly less.

We have a dedicated team of delivery personnel and a fleet of vehicles operating across the city which ensures timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

You can change your delivery address on our website once you log into your account. Click on “My Account” at the top right hand corner and go to the “Update My Profile” section to change your delivery address.

For any order value below INR 600, a delivery charge of INR 30 will be applied. For any order value between INR 600 and INR 1000, a delivery charge of INR 10 will be applied. All orders above INR 1000 will not incur any delivery charge.

Delivery charges will be applied for CityNow orders based on various factors such as order value, time of day, weather etc.

You will be able to check this detail at the time of checkout when you enter the address. If we are unable to deliver in your area – we will inform you before checkout.

In case of a delay, our customer support team will keep you updated about your delivery.

There is no minimum order value needed for delivery.

We do same day delivery provided you place your order before 12 noon on the day you want delivery.

City Market has now started same day delivery. All you have to do is order before 12 noon and we will deliver it to you the same day evening*. Any order placed after 12 noon will be delivered the next day in the slot chosen by you. For example if you place the order before 12 noon you can choose from either 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm to 8 pm slot. But, if order is placed after 12 noon you will receive it the next day in the slot chosen by you.

The Same day Delivery is applicable to our entire range of products.

Order Related

Delivery slots are time slots during which you will receive your order.

No, you will not be able to make any changes to your order after the cut off time for your selected slot. However, if you do not wish to buy a product you may return it at the time of delivery and the amount will be credited to your City Market account.

Delivery slot cannot be changed once the order is placed. In case of an urgent requirement of change of slot please contact our customer support team and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

Once you have placed your order you will not be able to make modifications on the website. Please contact our customer support team for any modification of order.

No you can only order products which are in stock. We try to ensure availability of all products on our website however due to supply chain issues sometimes this is not possible

You can check the status of your order in “my order” section or by contacting our customer support team.

You will receive an email as well as an sms about unavailable items before the delivery of your order.

What You Receive Is What You Pay For
At the time of delivery, we advise you to kindly check every item as in the invoice. Please report any missing item that is invoiced. As a benefit to our customers, if you are not available at the time of order delivery or you haven’t checked the list at the time of delivery we provide a window of 48hrs to report missing items. This is applicable only for items that are invoiced.

You can cancel an order by contacting our customer support team or you can also cancel your order from the Customer Service section on the City Market app.

An estimated delivery time of your Order will be displayed on the City Market now order page. Delivery timeframes, unless stated otherwise on the Site or App, are just estimates and are not guaranteed delivery timeframes and should not be relied upon. Deliveries to certain locations may take longer than expected due to accessibility issues and other operational challenges.

Please note that our customer service team will never ask you to share information other than your email ID, phone number, and name registered with City Market. If you get any email, call or message from anyone claiming to be from City Market asking for sensitive information such as bank account details, PIN number, card number, etc., please do not share it.

Expectation of fair conduct in dealings / transactions with City Market
City Market inter alia reserves the right to terminate, suspend or deactivate the customer’s account, if the customer has been involved in activities that are fraudulent / unlawful or if the conduct or action of the customer causes or is likely to cause harm to any person or entity, as well as City Market’s employees, customer service executives and/or delivery personnel(s).

By availing the services offered by City Market, the customer agrees not to engage in any conduct or action which is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, including bodily privacy, insulting, or harassing on the basis of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, culture, economic status or social background; racially or ethnically objectionable, or disparaging, or otherwise injurious to third parties or promoting enmity between different groups on any grounds, with the intent to incite violence. You will not have any claim towards City Market and City Market will not have any liability towards you for any termination or suspension that is undertaken, as a result of the aforementioned event(s) attributable to the customer.

Returns & Refund Policy

The Return & Exchange Policy entitles customers to return products for a refund or exchange the product for a replacement within its eligible return / exchange window. Return & Exchange window for every product can be confirmed on the Product Description Page of that product and is in accordance with the following:.
Fruits, Vegetables, Milk products, & Meat products: Within 2 hours of delivery date
Other Products: Within 7 days of delivery date
Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Products
We do not provide Return or Exchange facility for products marked as non-returnable & non-exchangeable on its respective Product Description Page. For these products, please contact the brand’s service centre directly.

Return, Exchange, and Cancellation policy for Electronics:
Return & Exchange for electronic products is permitted in accordance with the return / exchange details given on the Product Description Page.

Easy doorstep cancellation of Electronics Products is allowed if the product is not accepted at the time of delivery, remains unopened, unused, and sealed.

Refunds for returned products are processed in the CMWallet. Upon request, the same can be processed to the source payment account.

There is a link called “Offers” on the top right hand side of our website. All products with any discount or promotions are listed under this section.

We have a no questions asked return policy. In case you are not satisfied with a product received you can return it to the delivery personnel at time of delivery or you can contact our customer support team and we will do the needful.

What are the modes of refund?The amount will be refunded to your citymarkets.co.in account to use as store credit in your forthcoming purchases. In case of credit card payments we can also credit the money back to your credit card. The money will be credited back to your account in 7-10 working days. Please contact customer support for any further assistance regarding this issue.

Yes, we do bulk supply of products at special prices to institutions such as schools, restaurants and corporates. Please contact as at Business@citymarkets.co.in to know more.

Fruits and Vegetables are natural products that come in different shapes and sizes. While we have a strict control on the average sizes and weights, there is always scope for weight to vary from your ordered quantity. As a process we make sure that in all conditions only a maximum of one unit can go extra and hence you will be changed pro rata for the extra quantity.

No, there is no expiry date on the reward amount. Once the money is credited to your City Market wallet, it stays there till its used.
